(1) The committee may cancel the registration of the insurer by giving a written notice to the insurer in the following cases with effect from the date specified in the notice:- (a) If the insurance business is not started within 6 months from the date of receipt of the certificate, (b) Liability of the insurer his property located in Nepal ………… (c) If the insurer does not fulfill the obligations according to the judgment even within three months after the final decision of the court under the insurance policy issued in Nepal... If it is felt that the Nepali insurer has not received the same facilities in that country as per the prevailing law, (e) If the insurer does not open its office within Nepal, (f) If the insurer does not do any work that should be done in accordance with this Act or the rules made under this Act or does any work that should not be done. (2) Before canceling the registration of the insurer in accordance with sub-section (1), the committee shall give reasonable time to the relevant insurer to submit an explanation as to why the registration has to be cancelled. If the explanation given is not satisfactory, the committee shall cancel the registration of such insurer in accordance with sub-section (1) and notify Nepal ……….
